Application and service provider
This Privacy Policy applies to the Truffle Map mobile application and related public information services operated by KOZŁOWSCY SP Z O O (“KOZŁOWSCY”, “Service Provider”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Truffle Map is intended as a private foraging documentation utility. It helps users keep their own notes about local markers, soil composition, tree species, harvest timing, seasonal observations, and field history. The website is public and does not require accounts, login, registration, user dashboards, or authorization.
What information is collected?
Application data
The Application does not collect, log, transmit, sell, or store personal information on KOZŁOWSCY servers when you download or use it. Registration is not required.
Location information
Truffle Map may allow users to save foraging markers or location-related notes locally on their device. KOZŁOWSCY does not collect precise real-time location information from the mobile device and does not receive your private coordinates through normal app use.
Technical connectivity
If the Application or website is used with an active internet connection, standard technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted by networks to facilitate connectivity. This data is not retained by KOZŁOWSCY for tracking.
Third parties
Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, KOZŁOWSCY does not share such data with third parties. We do not sell personal data.
User-provided contact information
If you voluntarily contact KOZŁOWSCY by email or through a website contact form, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company or project details, and message. This information is used only to respond to your request.
We do not keep app data
KOZŁOWSCY does not collect or retain personal data, private coordinates, location markers, soil notes, tree species records, harvest dates, seasonal patterns, field notes, or app settings from Truffle Map through normal use.
Any foraging records that users create inside the Application are intended to remain on the user’s own device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise. Local records remain available only as long as they are kept by the user on that device, subject to the user’s device settings, app storage, backups controlled by the user, and deletion actions.
If you voluntarily contact KOZŁOWSCY, your message may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain business correspondence, or meet applicable legal obligations.
How to delete data
Local app records
Because Truffle Map records are not collected by KOZŁOWSCY through normal use, KOZŁOWSCY cannot remotely access, export, or delete records stored locally on your device.
- Delete individual records inside the app if such controls are available.
- Clear the app’s local data through your device settings.
- Uninstall the Application to remove it from your device.
Voluntary messages
If you have provided information directly to KOZŁOWSCY by email or another voluntary contact method, you may request deletion by contacting us at support@kozlowscy.it.com.
Children, security, changes, and consent
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher minimum age required by applicable law. KOZŁOWSCY does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. No security system is completely secure, but KOZŁOWSCY applies reasonable safeguards to systems and voluntary correspondence it holds.
Data breach notification
If a breach occurs involving information you voluntarily provided to KOZŁOWSCY, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
Policy changes
KOZŁOWSCY may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting an updated policy with a new effective date.
Your consent and responsible use
If processing of voluntarily provided information is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Truffle Map is a private foraging documentation and mapping utility. It does not guarantee harvests, identify edible species, grant land access, provide legal permissions, replace ecological regulations, substitute outdoor safety planning, or replace professional mycology guidance. Users are responsible for following local laws, landowner permissions, conservation rules, and safe foraging practices.
